About Violin Class:
Students will learn beginning violin through songs, games, and other activities. Violin basics such as bow hold, posture, rhythm patterns and fingering are incorporated into an individualized program designed to meet the needs of this age group. Students will receive conservatory quality instruction introduced in age appropriate levels and pacing.
Required Materials:
Each student will need a violin, bow, rosin, and case. On the first day of class we will not be using instruments. Contact instructor for sizing assistance. Most 1st – 3rd Grade violin students will be using a 1/10, 1/8 or 1/4 size violin.
